After simulating the first season on the brand new Football Manager 2016, there were a few surprises in the main british competition. Who won it? Who was the top goalscorer? And the best player? All the answers below.
That's true, the gunners did it! Arsène Wenger - who was named as Manager of the Year - managed to finish on top of the table for the first time since 2004, putting this way an end to the Chelsea/United/City domination.
So, the Players' Team of the Year should be based on Arsenal team...
Big nope. Only Özil was selected to be part of it. But. at least, he won the Players' Player of the Year. No more Arsenal players in the awards. Best Goalkeeper? De Gea. Footballer of the Year? Hazard. Players' Young Player? Coutinho. Not even a player in the top-3 scorers! Agüero won it followed by Ayoze and Harry Kane.
In the next few days I'll post the other competitions (english and european) winners, the individual awards and do a similar post with the spanish football.
